The Augsburg plant is the headquarters of the RENK Group. This location is home to the product areas of transmissions and industrial and marine gear units as well as RENK Test System GmbH. Approximately1,200 employees work at RENK’s Rheine location.

Hanover

RENK acquired the slide bearings and couplings product areas of the previous Eisenwerk Wülfel in Hanover in 1975. Today, the RENK plant in Hanover is the global market leader in the field of slide bearings for electrical machines. Slide bearings and couplings are produced in the Hanover plant. RENK currently employs over 330 staff at its Hanover location.

Rheine

The plant in Rheine was founded under the name “RENK TACKE GmbH” in 1986 by the RENK and Tacke companies and was merged with RENK AG in 1995 following the takeover of the Tacke stake. The Rheine plant is home to our product areas of stationary and maritime gear units, gear units for offshore wind farms, and couplings. Approximately 450 employees work at the Rheine location.
