Straightening

Despite taking every care during the loading and heat treatment of components, changes in dimensions and shape due to geometry, material, and heat treatment aspects can occur during this process. Rotationally symmetrical components that have an unfavorable diameter/length ratio are affected in particular. These types of components can be straightened again under certain conditions.

To this end, RENK’s team of trained and experienced employees have four straightening presses at their disposal which work with a pressing force of 40 to 2,000 metric tons.
